Cloud Positioning API

Qubulus’ Cloud Positioning API for Android is the first in its category to make a useable, Indoor Positioning API available to individual and enterprise developers alike. If you’re building apps that could benefit from indoor positioning, then Qubulus’ Cloud Positioning API should be your provider of choice.

Once fingerprint data is collected with the Recording Tool and the Fingerprint File has been generated, the QPS Positioning Engine can start positioning your device.  Using your devices own knowledge of multiple radio access technologies, the device will report the details about its radio environment to the nearest Qubulus Cloud Positioning Server to match and estimate your current position based off the existing fingerprint for the environment.

Since we currently have Qubulus Cloud Positioning Servers all over the world, including Brazil, Ireland, Japan, and the United States, you are guaranteed that latency will never be an issue in serving you instantaneous, on demand positioning.

Use With Google Maps API

Since the positions delivered by our Cloud Positioning System are in standardized Geo Coordinates, you can use them with any existing mapping tool that uses Geo Coordinates.  Works great with SDKs like Google or Bing maps!

Onboard Positioning

When you need positioning immediately and you can’t guarantee a consistent data connection, Qubulus’ Onboard Positioning has you covered.  Taking the essential parts of the Qubulus Cloud Positioning Server, you can embed Qubulus’ Onboard Positioning directly into your application for offline use.
