It’s MWC 2012 time.
… and as you all already figured out after reading our previous PR announcement, Qubulus and Crunchfish have taken indoor positioning to the next level by combining indoor positioning with proximity based triggers.
Why is this groundbreaking?
Until now LBS platforms have not been able to position users accurate enough to be able to push out coupons, messages and media to consumers and end users. By teaming up with Crunchfish, Qubulus is able to demonstrate how indoor positioning can be made available for existing LBS systems with minimal integration effort. This does not only allow for accurate indoor positioning but it also increases revenue potential by enabling more proximity based triggers (coupons, messages, etc) per floor area.
The application allows user to navigate indoor in parts of MWC Hall2. When the user comes within range of one of the four Points Of Interest a message will be played.
The Points Of Interest triggers in Hall2 are:
1. 2F13 – Sweden at the Mobile World Congress
2. Restaurant
3. Damm Bar
4. 2E41 – Fraunhofer
