Kathrine Heiberg, Chairman of the Board

Kathrine Heiberg is the CEO of Reteam, member of European Research Group, ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) and member of the Shoplev–research group. Kathrine’s skills for trends and consumer understanding are well-known not only in the Scandinavian countries and by reteams costumers. In 2007 she was asked to join ICSC’s European Research Group, and her delicate questions have increased the hot topic discussions as nothing is taken for given.

In November 2009 she was appointed chairman for ERGs taskforce 2009-2011 of describing the platform for the future mall. This work includes defining the trends that will influence the shopping mall in the future and how developers, owners and managers of malls should meet new trends and demands from consumers. Holds a Masters degree in Law & Economics.

 

Mats Weidmar, Board Director

Mats Weidmar is a seasoned entrepreneur with 25+ years experience from the software industry. Mats holds a master’s degree in engineering from the university of Lund and an MBA from SIMI in Copenhagen. At Enea, a large software firm in Sweden, Mats headed the business development team and was responsible for launching a number of new business initiatives. Mats were then involved in several high-tech startups before joining the Jayway Group as a co-founder. As CEO of Jayway Innovation, Mats manages an innovation accelerator helping startups getting to market quickly.

 

Jean Pierre Payat, Board Director

Jean Pierre Payat is presently non executive Director or investor in several hi-tech companies operating in the retail and security sector.

He is a co-founder of FootFall Ltd; a company specializing in Shopping Center Performance measurement, and was responsible for the companies’ international activities. The company was successfully sold to Experian Ltd for 35 Mio pounds.
He is also Managing Director of Payat Security, consulting on merger and acquisitions in the International Security Industry as well as European strategy and market development for manufactures of hi-tech security products. Previously, he has filled senior management positions in several European countries and in the U.S.A. for leading multinational security companies. He has more than 30 years experience in the security industry, both in the electronic and services fields.

Jean Pierre Payat has been an active member of ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security) since 1978, serving as Chapter 44 Chairman, Assistant Regional Vice President and Chairman of the European Subcouncil for Physical Security and also Charter member of ERG (European Research Group) of the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers). He is frequent lecturer at Seminars and Exhibits and author of several security publications.

Jean Pierre Payat speaks German, French, Italian, Spanish and English and has completed engineering, language and marketing studies at the Gewerbeschule in Bern, Wimbledom College in London and The Harvard Business School.

Jean Pierre Payat is a Swiss national. He is married and presently lives in Madrid, Spain.

 

 Frank Schuil, Board Director

Online LBS and mobile application expert. Frank has co-founded several companies in the location-based services area: IRL Connect, Verbeterdebuurt and Qubulus. He is focused on the practical use cases for new technology and the long term implications for consumers. Holds a bachelor in International Media & Entertainment Management.

 
 
 
 

Christian Ahl, Board Director

Christian Ahl is Investment Manager at Innovationsbron and has invested in several innovative startups in the Skåne/Blekinge region.

Christian holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics, specializing in Strategy, from Lund University. He also spent one semester at National University of Singapore studying Finance.

Christian has a background as IT consultant from the Danish IT consultant firm Netcompany. Before joining Innovationsbron he worked as a management consultant at Capgemini Consulting where he worked with several global companies both in Sweden and internationally, mostly focusing on strategy, organization and process development.


Advisors

 

Andreas Jakobsson, Professor at Lund University

Andreas Jakobsson received his M.Sc. from Lund University and his Ph.D. in Signal Processing from Uppsala University, respectively. Since, he has held positions with Global IP Sound AB, the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology, King’s College London, and Karlstad University. He has also been a visiting researcher at King’s College London, Brigham Young University, Stanford University, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, and University of California, San Diego, as well as an Honorary Research Fellow at Cardiff University.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the IEEE Sensor Array and Multichannel (SAM) Signal Processing Technical Committee, and an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, the IEEE Signal Processing Letters, and the Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interests include statistical and array signal processing, detection and estimation theory, and related application in remote sensing, telecommunication and biomedicine.

Martin Scharp has extensive experience as financial manageer, Group Financial Controller and Group Business Controller for a numbers of top companies including Ericsson, ABS Group, GCE and CDON.
